New found hobby

I was brainstorming Christmas presents ideas about two weeks ago. I wanted to give all my loved ones something homemade and something they'd enjoy. I found some embroidery pieces online that I thought would be perfect! But I had zero knowledge in the field. So, I knew I'd have to search online or read a book about it.

I stopped by this bookstore right outside the mall that is $10 or less. (So amazing!) I happened to find a book about embroidery..

For only $6, I thought I hit the jackpot! It was what I wanted a book to be. All of the projects inside are so fun and right up the alley of my pre concieved ideas I had. So naturally, I stopped by Jo-Ann's and grabbed some basic materials. I started as soon as I got home! Right now I am working on a sampler that has all of the stitches it talks about in the book. So far, so good. They are in no way perfect but I'll get there! I'm just so estatic that I have another addition to my skills. Which are knitting and crocheting. Sewing is the next on the list. I just remembered something that my sister has said that was both insulting and complimentary, "You're going to have so much fun when you're old."
